Courts:

I have NO comment or opinion of any of the candidates for the courts.

The Missouri Supreme Court is composed of seven judges who are appointed by the governor and then must stand for retention by voters thereafter. A full term on the court is 12 years. Retention elections take place during Missouri’s general elections, which are held every two years in even-numbered years.

The 2 candidates that are up for retention are Judge Mary Rhodes Russell who was appointed by Dem. Gov. Bob Holden and Judge Wesley Brent Powell who was appointed by Rep. Gov. Eric Greitens.

The Missouri Appellate Court candidates up for retention are Jeffrey Bates  and Colleen Dolan and Lisa K. Page and Ted Ardini
