Early voting starts the second Saturday before Election Day Early voting centers are open from 10 am until 8 pm every day of early voting except on Sundays; on Sundays, they are open from 12pm to 6pm. and ends the Thursday before Election Day.

Voters registration deadline 

  • In-Person: 21 days before Election Day or during early voting between 13 to 5 days before Election Day.
  • By Mail: 21 days before Election Day.
  • Online: 21 days before Election Day.

Note: You can register to vote in-person during early voting (October 27-November 3, 2016). If you can’t register by the close of voter registration (October 18, 2016), go to an early voting center in the county where you live and bring a document that proves where you live. This document can be your MVA-issued license, ID card, or change of address card, or your paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or other government document with your name and new address
